The dishwasher is broken.
I've been doing the dishes for six people by hand for three days.
The repairman is coming today at 1:00.
He's my hero.

I hope that all is now right in your world.
When our dishwasher died several years ago, I wouldn't let anyone cook anything that involved real dishes or pots or pans for days. It was a sad, sad time.
LOL I don't mean to laugh at you, i'm laughing becuase when we moved here we left our disherwasher behind, so now I have a new one, my Hubby, I work and he is retired, so he keeps the house up, he (cooks, cleans,and laundry and yard work) I am so glad and grateful that he does...

I did dishes for 6 people for 11 years before my oldest left home. Then I did dishes for 5 for another year until the next oldest left home. My next home will have a dishwasher. You can count on it!
