Spring Reading Thing

Katrina over at Callapidder Days is hosting her Spring Reading Thing 2008. I thought I'd participate because, ya know, it would be nice to actually read some of the books I've bought over the last few years.

So here goes, my reading list for the next three months:

  • Diary of a Provincial Lady by E.M. Delafield

  • Home-Making by J.R. Miller

  • French Women Don't Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano

  • Building Strong Families by Dennis Rainey

  • The Intimate Marriage by R.C. Sproul

  • Keep In Step With The Spirit by J.I. Packer

  • The Devil In The White City by Erik Larson

  • The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey

  • Open Your Eyes by Alexandra Stoddard
  • The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace

I have both the "french women" books on my list. I am just finishing my re-read of French Women Don't Get Fat. It's every bit as good the 2nd time!

Enjoy...

You've got The Excellent Wife on your list, and I've probably read it twice. Even taught it during a 10-week Bible study (as if I even knew anything about being a godly wife way back in my 20's). It's quite meaty...lots of scripture. Get ready to dig in and get to work. You will use it as a resource again and again for yourself and for other women.

Looks like a good list (and of course, I love the picture)! I read The Excellent Wife several years ago and got so much out of it. Thanks for being part of SRT '08!

Great books! I have The Excellent Wife and have read it twice. It's probably one that I should just read on a continual basis. :)

We are Dave Ramsey fans too, so I know that one will be good.
