All went well at the Show Choir Invitational yesterday. I did end up working in the kitchen wearing a very attractive hair net and serving up walking tacos. I didn't see anyone that I knew from my old high school, but they did win! (the hosting school doesn't compete in the Invitational, they do perform but just as an exhibition)
We had a great day, but boy was I tired when I got home. I'm not used to seven hours on my feet. Fortunately, the kids don't have a competition next week. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend!
